Welcome, welcome everyone! Happy Sunday! Yes, as the league schedule continues to get bounced around, the LOC schedule reciprocates. I’m not complaining, Sunday seems like a far more appropriate time to be doing this, who’s idea was TNF anyway? Interesting week coming up for the Power Rankings, all my top ranked teams clearly thought it would be hilarious to make me look bad and deliberately lose, tch. And it has meant we’ve squeezed up at the top of the table (not the bottom, couple of unnamed stragglers continuing to, well, straggle), the playoff race is still completely up in the air. Let’s check out some rankings…

12. Patistan (1-4) Non-mover
I stand by what I said last week, I am really happy they got their win (at least, that’s my non-
bitter story in public, and I’m sticking to it). Unfortunately, they reverted back to, you know, not-winning. They’re the low scorers in the league by nearly 20 points per game at this stage, but they’re also getting healthier. Boy, they’d like to win this week against The Tuckfards.
11. Tom’s Tyrants (0-5) Non-mover
Well, it was there for the taking. Getting a little too cute with the line up cost them this week and a second Henry TD early Wednesday morning was the final nail. There’s still a decent way to go, but this is becoming more about not setting an all time worst record than it is about a late playoff surge.
10. The Tuckfards (3-2) Non-mover
Just, so, Tuckfards. They didn’t start a player. Like, really? I’m only just seeing this. There is a blank player spot. That happened? Sorry, back on focus, regardless of that – be it sheer arrogance, outrageous foresight, an act of empathy or (most likely) a hilarious mistake – this was still classic Tuckfards. Taking down the top ranked team thanks to a 30 point performance on the DST, and it was Baltimore, you literally can’t write it. I’m out.
9. Gridiron Gang (2-3) Non-mover
This team is starting to shape into a classic Gridiron Gang assortment of seemingly random players. Mike Davis is going better than literally anyone expected though, and he helped them to another key win in Week 5. They’ll be looking to build on that momentum with Golladay and Newton back in the line up. Note; they’ve had a crazy number of early bye-weeks, clearly not going for the win early covid shortened season strategy.
8. Forge Flyers (3-2) Non-mover
They are certainly not lighting up any scoreboards, but they are consistently putting up decent numbers and, crucially, wins. Now 3-2, despite being the third lowest scorers, they’ll be looking to keep trending up. More waiver money going into revamping their WR core is critical, they’ll need it to build on the strong base of rushers (I’m including Lamar in this, some of his throws have been…yeah…).
-
Quick note: I’m really struggling to break up this little set of teams from 8-10, that’s why they have all stayed is that slot despite all having good weeks. I feel like we’re reaching the melting point though, someone help me out here. Also, don’t worry, the rankings get more interesting from here on.

7. IKSAN (3-2) Down 3
Well, Mostert came back and did alright, that’s the good news. Not a good week, on the scoreboard or the treatment table. Dak had been everything they’d hoped when drafting him, now he won’t be. Coach Sherwood clearly doesn’t believe in Dalton, but doesn’t want anyone else to have him. Chase Edmonds is the latest guy to get the relief call, they’ll hope to continue their decent strike rate for waiver adds.
6. Burdettinators (2-3) Down 1
Probably deserved the little bit of luck they got to hold on in Week 5 and get the win. Based off the rest of their season, 100 points didn’t look like it would be enough. It wasn’t a week full of good news though. CEH seems to have let slip his hold on a very lucrative job, basically because he doesn’t want to score TDs, hmm. That’s left this team even more boom or bust-y than when they started. Is Julio fit? They, like Atlanta, need him.
5. Bear Necessities (2-3) Down 2
It was a decent week truth be told. Josh Allen was just an average fantasy QB for the first time this season, and c’mon, who saw that 49ers Fins game coming? The squad strengths definitely deserves to be hitting over the .500 mark, they should bounce back. But they’re now bottom of their division, time to kick it up a gear. What happens with Gordon could be key to their season.
4. Buccing the Trend (3-2) Up 2
Matt Ryan was starting to look more fragile as a starting QB, luckily the rest of the team was on fire last week. Fitzmagic gets the call this week, and after the showing against the 49ers, why not. Despite missing a couple of key starters on byes, they’ve filled in well and Lindsay getting the call could not be better timing. Depending on the Gordon situation, this could work out real nice.
3. U R Gould (4-1) Up 4
Lose best player, put up best performance of the season and weekly high score. Figures. Every year there is one team that seems to sneak through by not conceding many points. Since ADRZ becam Buccing the Trend, that annual responsibility has been split amongst other teams. This year it looks like U R Gould are shouldering the burden. Regardless of that, if they can starting putting up more scores like that, they’ll actually be as dangerous as their record suggests.
2. Odell or Nodell (3-2) Non-mover
That was a decidedly below average week, but that’s what happens when you’re all in on a team and they have a bye. Kamara wasn’t enough to make up for the missing players, and now he’s on a bye. But after that, there is no reason to think they won’t be back to top form, basically this was a good couple of weeks to play them.
1. The Dream Team (4-1) Non-mover
They never recovered from the Scotty Miller vanishing act on Thursday night, despite the fact Coach Merritt clearly felt bad for them and left one player slot empty. The cracks had started to show in previous weeks, notwithstanding being 4-0 they were winning games by less than 9 points on average. It’s first vs worst this week for them, they need a statement victory to prove they deserve to be top of the charts.

I warned you last week that someone needs to start letting me win, no one listened. Plus, it’s also only a few hours to game time. But regardless, this is on you, all of you. Laters.
