2020 Power Rankings: Week 8

Hello, hello, we’re back again for another weekend edition of the Power Rankings! First time we’ve not beaten the early game out (this year at least) and, in the interest of not making that a habit, we’ll ignore anything that happened Thursday night. In fact, just pretend it is Thursday still, remember whatever you were doing Thursday night and relive it. In fact, I might go put a bet on the Falcons, just got a decent feeling. But first, Power Rankings…

-

12. The Tuckfards (3-4) Down 2

Starting a Covid positive player was probably the sign of things to come here. It was another lacklustre performance on a team overly reliant on one or two players. Claypool came back to Earth with a thud and Mahomes literally didn’t need to play most of his matchup. Their win total had been keeping them off the bottom, but no more.

11. Tom’s Tyrants (2-5) Up 1

Hmm, last week’s drop to the bottom seems to have been motivational! Most of the points came from Herbert and Adams, but there were decent contributors across the board. Can the Brady/Herbert rotation work for them for the rest of the season? Both QBs have been on fire of late, but it will come with a cost of depth.

10. Bear Necessities (2-5) Down 2

Look, it was a tough bye week and I’m well aware that they have conceded the most points in the league, but the early season strength and depth of this team just appears to have vanished. Just like the rest of the NFL, Josh Allen appeared to fool me, they need him back on track. It looks like Cook will be back, and that has come at exactly the right time. Having 5 losses is not a deal breaker. Quite.

9. Gridiron Gang (3-4) Non-mover

Despite some utter heroics from Lockett, not to mention Bass, Cam screwed them. Big time. Something tells me that was his last game in the LOC this year. Starting multiple Lions doesn’t sound like something that should work, but Swift and Golladay both look good. They’ll be hoping Green continues his upward trend.

8. Patistan (3-4) Up 3

Picking up steam! They’ve worked hard for it and spent basically all their waiver budget doing it, but they are solidly back in the mix. If they can get Mixon and Thomas (their top two draft picks) back off the injury table/out of the doghouse/both, they’ll be looking fierce. Big shout out to Tannehill and Brown for proving their on field chemistry by matching their off field scores – love to see it.

7. Parks and Rec (3-4) Down 6

Well, bumping them up last week probably didn’t make much sense, so I’ll just pull a big old U-turn, talk amongst yourselves. Starting Aaron Jones was a bit of a return to form for a Coach who has previously had difficulty keeping it up for a whole season. Likewise, the early season waiver moves have dried up, bit of a shame from a team still in a decent spot. Side note; is there a saltier guy in the NFL than Lev Bell? Could be fireworks in the revenge game.

6. Buccing the Trend (3-4) Down 2

Better than last week points wise, but still not great and still the same result. DK did nothing (outside of one ridiculous tackle) and that hurt them. They need a little spark in a team that has started to flounder. Wentz looks like a good start, Fournette getting healthy again and upping his playtime could be the next step. Both have good matchups this week.

5. U R Gould (4-3) Down 3

Very, very good QB play, including the backup. Those are my positives. The negative list is longer unfortunately. Losing Drake is an issue, they’ll be hoping that it won’t be for too long, but should they have pushed harder for Edmonds in the meantime? They have the second highest waiver budget in the league, but some of the worst depth, shopping spree?

4. IKSAN (5-2) Up 3

Annnd another win, 8th top scorers, joint best record. It is actually a little scary to think what might have happened had they not had the injury woes. They’ll be hoping to get Carson fully fit again, whilst CMC edges ever closer. Working from a hard fought 5-2 record, getting healthier for the stretch will make them serious contenders.

3. Burdettinators (4-3) Up 3

Another very good week for a team picking up steam. I mean, I keep expecting the committees to catch up with their RBs, but it keeps not happening. Losing Beckham was less of a big deal than it seems, especially with Jones healthy again. They have more consistent WRs on the bench ready to step up. ‘Accidentally’ spending 47 points on Edmonds, not buying it personally, but should still be a good pick up when he’s back from the bye.

2. The Dream Team (5-2) Up 1

That was a ship-righter, a necessary one as well. They have been arguably the most consistent team in the league this year, but they still have causes for concern. Instead of being featured, Zeke has instead found himself against loaded boxes. Godwin’s health has also been a concern all season in an O that doesn’t rely on him as much as last season. Still in a very good spot though.

1. Forge Flyers (5-2) Up 4

A meteoric rise in the rankings the past couple of weeks. They started the year as my top ranked team and, after my loss of faith, they have returned. Williams was a smart pickup and looks like he will pay out again this coming week. Christian Kirk continues to score a lot of points without touching the ball much, a valuable asset to any team. Only one player fell below double digits in Week 7, the Kicker, with 9, that’s pretty nice.

-

Did anyone bother to read the outro last week? This one is shorter, you can check if you like. After trying to keep things from being too reactive last week, my self-restraint limit was breached and everyone moved everywhere this week. It’s all good fun. Only one non-mover in fact – c’mon Gridiron Gang, try a bit harder.

2020: Well, that week was...weird

Welcome to another episode of the LOC Report! Commissioner Stubbs and Cohost Chris Leach will be previewing Week 7 in this weeks show, hard to believe we're already at the midway point of this crazy season. But before all that, they'll be taking a look back at Week 6, a week which was either a snooze fest or a blowout, and if you scored 80+ points you'd have beaten 7 teams in the league...

2020 Power Rankings: Week 7

Good evening coaches! And podcasters! The ol’ EDOTLOCCA got out before you this week (for the first and only time no doubt), so you can actually talk about the up to date Power Rankings! What a week to do it as well, over half the league scored under 80 points… a quarter of the league scored over 140 points… madness! Oh, and two teams put up normal scores, because they are dull. Luckily for them, dullness will not be reflected in the Rankings. Results this week have made everything a bit tricky, I’ve tried to keep it from being too

reactive and look at overall strength, so bear with;

-

12. Tom’s Tyrants (1-5) Down 1

Maybe they deserved a bit of luck? Maybe I’m biased? Okay, I am definitely biased. But maybe still the first thing anyway. They may be celebrating the win, but over a quarter of the Week’s points coming from the Kicker? Yeah, the drop to the bottom was needed. Literally every game has become must win, so they were forced to spend big to acquire Boston Scott for coming the week.

11. Patistan (2-4) Up 1

Ahhh, nothing motivates like pure, searing, unadulterated hatred, does it? They simply couldn’t stay bottom after that monster score, but the best thing about it was that, outside of Jefferson, none of the individual scores seemed unsustainably high. Sure, the Kicker and DST scores were high, but that’s playing matchups. Now, to prove it wasn’t a fluke.

10. The Tuckfards (3-3) Non-mover

Mahomes, Hopkins, Claypool. That was my list of players capable of winning you a matchup on this roster. Now, I’ve been beating that drum since the beginning, but they’re still sitting at 3-3, so there is clearly some things going right. Losing Ertz sounds like a bigger deal than it is, but they could do with adding some spice to build on the record.

9. Gridiron Gang (3-3) Non-mover

Decent week and a more than decent result. The bevvy of midround WRs the drafted are starting to come to something useful and waiver pickup Swift just proved timing is everything. The key to this team appears to be high volume guys, they’ll need to keep riding Davis for as long as possible. If Brown pans out, 2020 is complete.

8. Bear Necessities (2-4) Down 3

Last week I said they’d been unlucky, but this time out they just kinda stank. Josh Allen has been trending in the wrong direction, whilst having to replace Cook and Gordon proved too much. The Week 6 team was the weakest they’ve fielded, by a margin, and that record is starting to look like a hurdle that needs overcoming as well. The drop was inevitable.

7. IKSAN (4-2) Non-mover

Not the only predicament team to place this week, but probably the biggest one. On one hand, 60 points scored, fresh off a drop down the rankings, another key injury and an unanswered QB question mark, on the other they got the win and now boast the joint best record. Safe bet = non-mover. Travis Fulgham is the latest man straight from the waivers to the starting line-up, I’m starting to question whether this team even has a breaking point?

6. Burdettinators (3-3) Non-mover

Well, that was a pretty nice week. Those RBs that I was talking about finding themselves in committees came storming through, could have been a last hurrah, but take what you can get in fantasy! Julio reannounced himself as well and Watson has started to put together some top performances since O’Brien left – probably a coincidence, right?

5. Forge Flyers (4-2) Up 3

Last week I called for a team from the (former) 8-10 range to really prove they deserved to bounce up the rankings. I believe the exact words were ‘help me out here’, well Coach Leach delivered. Yes, Henry’s score was crazy, but have you seen that guy? He’s pretty crazy. Kirk’s score line was more ridiculous, the guy had two catches. Nevertheless, a team I started the season very high on, is really coming into their own. By the way, DST hoarding? Under the radar, but I love it.

4. Buccing the Trend (3-3) Non-mover

Some effort appeared to be made to guarantee the loss there. Perhaps they should have stuck with Matt Ryan after all? In fairness, that was their worst bye week, having Metcalf and Jacobs out of your line up would have hurt anyone. The decline of T.Y. Hilton has been one of the sadder stories, swept under the rug in a generally odd year.

3. The Dream Team (4-2) Down 2

And the mighty stumbles yet again, following up a subpar week with a bad one. Kittle looked like Kittle again and that is definitely good, but relying on the Dolphins DST (first person in history?) isn’t a good thing. Mattison isn’t quite as good as Cook it seems and the downgrade of the Cowboys offence on the whole turned out to be a pretty big deal. Hold onto the ball Zeke!

2. U R Gould (4-2) Up 1

Considering that I jinxed them with the massive boost last week, not too bad a score, just a rather ‘on fire’ opponent. Kupp had a stinker, but he’ll bounce back, Jonnu’s injury was unlucky as well and Coach Gardner will hope he doesn’t miss much time. The bench doesn’t offer too much otherwise, although apparently Tim Patrick is going to keep being a thing.

1. Odell or Nodell (3-3) Up 1

Someone told the Packers they only get one bye week, right? That was a stinker, and it really came out of nowhere. They’ve got Kamara back now, Keelan Cole looks like a valuable pickup and Le’Veon Bell could actually be, you know, relevant again now, so there are some silver linings. But you have to go searching for them. Definitely not a week to move up on, but we’re on a combination of past form and everyone around them also doing badly and being less healthy. Sue me.

-

You did it, you all clubbed together to bribe Coach Nathwani, he threw the game, and your reward is this outrageously long outro. Seriously, you guys earned this. Now enjoy your reward. Pay no attention to that fact that it is mostly inane ramblings, offering no real insight to, well, anything. That is what an outro is supposed to be! Ahh, now you are starting to realise what you have signed yourselves up for. Yep, scroll down the page, it keeps going. But again, this was all because of you guys. No one would judge you if you skipped ahead, honestly, I mean it is only an outro, To be quite honest, unless you’ve bothered to read the last few outros, this wouldn’t really be making sense anyway. I could explain again quite why I’d cut the outros down? I mean I guess I have the time? Yeah, I caught you glancing down the page again, just skip it, you’re done, you’ve already seen all the good stuff up above any way, right? Or have you? Maybe this is all just part of the plan, separating the wheat from the chaff, and the really good stuff is actually hidden underneath. Well, you were right, you wonderful people that made it all the way through, not all heroes wear capes, but you guys seriously should. And here it comes, the hidden gem, doing Rankings is bloody hard. All the teams I call good keep losing, it makes it impossible! I might as well draw them out of a hat! It’s how everything else is this league works anyway… Seriously though, hard. If only I put as much effort into them as I did this outro. Meh, that’s not going to happen.

TL;DR – there was literally no message.

I promise I’ll never do that again.

Good luck for Week 7!

2020 Power Rankings: Week 6

Welcome, welcome everyone! Happy Sunday! Yes, as the league schedule continues to get bounced around, the LOC schedule reciprocates. I’m not complaining, Sunday seems like a far more appropriate time to be doing this, who’s idea was TNF anyway? Interesting week coming up for the Power Rankings, all my top ranked teams clearly thought it would be hilarious to make me look bad and deliberately lose, tch. And it has meant we’ve squeezed up at the top of the table (not the bottom, couple of unnamed stragglers continuing to, well, straggle), the playoff race is still completely up in the air. Let’s check out some rankings…

-

12. Patistan (1-4) Non-mover

I stand by what I said last week, I am really happy they got their win (at least, that’s my non-

bitter story in public, and I’m sticking to it). Unfortunately, they reverted back to, you know, not-winning. They’re the low scorers in the league by nearly 20 points per game at this stage, but they’re also getting healthier. Boy, they’d like to win this week against The Tuckfards.

11. Tom’s Tyrants (0-5) Non-mover

Well, it was there for the taking. Getting a little too cute with the line up cost them this week and a second Henry TD early Wednesday morning was the final nail. There’s still a decent way to go, but this is becoming more about not setting an all time worst record than it is about a late playoff surge.

10. The Tuckfards (3-2) Non-mover

Just, so, Tuckfards. They didn’t start a player. Like, really? I’m only just seeing this. There is a blank player spot. That happened? Sorry, back on focus, regardless of that – be it sheer arrogance, outrageous foresight, an act of empathy or (most likely) a hilarious mistake – this was still classic Tuckfards. Taking down the top ranked team thanks to a 30 point performance on the DST, and it was Baltimore, you literally can’t write it. I’m out.

9. Gridiron Gang (2-3) Non-mover

This team is starting to shape into a classic Gridiron Gang assortment of seemingly random players. Mike Davis is going better than literally anyone expected though, and he helped them to another key win in Week 5. They’ll be looking to build on that momentum with Golladay and Newton back in the line up. Note; they’ve had a crazy number of early bye-weeks, clearly not going for the win early covid shortened season strategy.

8. Forge Flyers (3-2) Non-mover

They are certainly not lighting up any scoreboards, but they are consistently putting up decent numbers and, crucially, wins. Now 3-2, despite being the third lowest scorers, they’ll be looking to keep trending up. More waiver money going into revamping their WR core is critical, they’ll need it to build on the strong base of rushers (I’m including Lamar in this, some of his throws have been…yeah…).

-

Quick note: I’m really struggling to break up this little set of teams from 8-10, that’s why they have all stayed is that slot despite all having good weeks. I feel like we’re reaching the melting point though, someone help me out here. Also, don’t worry, the rankings get more interesting from here on.

-

7. IKSAN (3-2) Down 3

Well, Mostert came back and did alright, that’s the good news. Not a good week, on the scoreboard or the treatment table. Dak had been everything they’d hoped when drafting him, now he won’t be. Coach Sherwood clearly doesn’t believe in Dalton, but doesn’t want anyone else to have him. Chase Edmonds is the latest guy to get the relief call, they’ll hope to continue their decent strike rate for waiver adds.

6. Burdettinators (2-3) Down 1

Probably deserved the little bit of luck they got to hold on in Week 5 and get the win. Based off the rest of their season, 100 points didn’t look like it would be enough. It wasn’t a week full of good news though. CEH seems to have let slip his hold on a very lucrative job, basically because he doesn’t want to score TDs, hmm. That’s left this team even more boom or bust-y than when they started. Is Julio fit? They, like Atlanta, need him.

5. Bear Necessities (2-3) Down 2

It was a decent week truth be told. Josh Allen was just an average fantasy QB for the first time this season, and c’mon, who saw that 49ers Fins game coming? The squad strengths definitely deserves to be hitting over the .500 mark, they should bounce back. But they’re now bottom of their division, time to kick it up a gear. What happens with Gordon could be key to their season.

4. Buccing the Trend (3-2) Up 2

Matt Ryan was starting to look more fragile as a starting QB, luckily the rest of the team was on fire last week. Fitzmagic gets the call this week, and after the showing against the 49ers, why not. Despite missing a couple of key starters on byes, they’ve filled in well and Lindsay getting the call could not be better timing. Depending on the Gordon situation, this could work out real nice.

3. U R Gould (4-1) Up 4

Lose best player, put up best performance of the season and weekly high score. Figures. Every year there is one team that seems to sneak through by not conceding many points. Since ADRZ becam Buccing the Trend, that annual responsibility has been split amongst other teams. This year it looks like U R Gould are shouldering the burden. Regardless of that, if they can starting putting up more scores like that, they’ll actually be as dangerous as their record suggests.

2. Odell or Nodell (3-2) Non-mover

That was a decidedly below average week, but that’s what happens when you’re all in on a team and they have a bye. Kamara wasn’t enough to make up for the missing players, and now he’s on a bye. But after that, there is no reason to think they won’t be back to top form, basically this was a good couple of weeks to play them.

1. The Dream Team (4-1) Non-mover

They never recovered from the Scotty Miller vanishing act on Thursday night, despite the fact Coach Merritt clearly felt bad for them and left one player slot empty. The cracks had started to show in previous weeks, notwithstanding being 4-0 they were winning games by less than 9 points on average. It’s first vs worst this week for them, they need a statement victory to prove they deserve to be top of the charts.

-

I warned you last week that someone needs to start letting me win, no one listened. Plus, it’s also only a few hours to game time. But regardless, this is on you, all of you. Laters.

2020: It's still anyone's game

Welcome to another episode of the LOC Report! As we are rapidly approaching the middle point of the LOC Regular season, it is all still to play for - join Commissioner Stubbs and Cohost Chris Leach as they examine the state of affairs, recapping the Week 5 games and previewing Week 6.

2020 Power Rankings: Week 5

Good (late) evening Coaches. Another Thursday and anyone bothering to keep track will note that these are getting later in the day, still hours before KO tonight though – thank god for time zones! In all seriousness, does anyone really read the intros anyway? Let me know in the comment section, if there is one. Again, who’s keeping track. Anyway, you’re all here to see how your team is doing, hopefully it’s better than Wales. Read on.

-

12. Patistan (1-3) Non-mover

A well deserved win for Coach Allen. An the fact it came with the help of key waiver pickups Fitzmagic and Jefferson makes it sweeter still. Mixon came up big, and I doubt he can be relied on for many more performances of that magnitude, Patistan still need Thomas back, then they can start to build on this (and get off the bottom of this list).

11. Tom’s Tyrants (0-4) Non-mover

A good performance but not the right result, justly feeling a little hard done by. A more well rounded performance in general, with Robinson, Gibson and Gurley all growing into bigger and better roles. Unfortunately, growing time isn’t just running out, it has run out. Have to win this week.

10. The Tuckfards (2-2) Down 1

This was the week I kept talking about when I wasn’t bumping them up the rankings. A lack of targets and touches, plus Mahomes being just your above average starting NFL QB, rather than his usual tone-setting self. They need to find some of the infamous diamonds in the rough they have made a career off.

9. Gridiron Gang (1-2) Down 1

Not quite managing to build on the previous week’s result, but even worse was the loss of Ekeler. In a season that many teams have had defined by injury, Coach Stubbs Jr. is now down his top two draft picks. Golladay did pick up where he left off in 2019, which is a silver lining.

8. Forge Flyers (2-2) Up 2

Well, fair play. Despite streaming about half a team, they got the win, and even more impressively hit the 100 point mark. DJ Chark looks like he is going to continue to be a key contributor with matchup winning potential. If Lamar Jackson can start doing some more of the 2019 stuff he did last week, he could make this team really dangerous.

7. U R Gould (3-1) Non-mover

Big scorers? Nah. Putting together an impressive record? Sure thing. They are only joint (yes really, joint) 8th for scoring in the league, but they have also conceded the least by a margin. Losing Chubb for a few weeks is definitely going to hurt them, he’s been their best player until now. The challenge is on to keep the wins rolling in.

6. Buccing the Trend (2-2) Down 1

They have certainly cooled off a little since the first couple of games. DK Metcalf and Tyreek Hill are gamebreakers with superstar QBs, but they are going to have less impressive weeks, Coach Taylor won’t want to find himself relying on them. Josh Jacobs has had a couple of down weeks in tough matchups, they’ll be looking for another player with his kind of touches.

5. Burdettinators (1-3) Down 1

To be clear from the off, they aren’t dropping for the performance, but the record is starting to hurt them. Ridley pulled an absolute dud, out of nowhere, and it really cost them in the tight matchup, despite some OBJ magic. Coach Burdett will be rightly annoyed, but he should keep his eyes on the season ahead.

4. IKSAN (3-1) Up 2

On the right side of the game of the week, dragged over the line by Carson despite the multiple injuries he is apparently carrying. Being 3-1 is great, but they will be even happier given the fact Mostert is close to a return and McCaffrey isn’t due to be too far behind. Concerning for us other Coaches.

3. Bear Necessities (2-2) Non-mover

A very good week and bad luck not to get the win. Led by Josh Allen and the stable of RBs, they have a solid platform for weekly points. Coach Stubbs Sr. will be hoping to build on the win column in the coming weeks, he has assembled a group of players that deserves to be operating above a .500 record.

2. Odell or Nodell (3-1) Non-mover

Oh, they’re good. Another monster week. Literally everyone turned up and then Murray put 20 on the bench just for good measure. I had them pretty high up the rankings after the draft, a decision I seem to remember wasn’t agreed with on other LOC media channels, but I guarantee no one wants to play them right now.

1. The Dream Team (4-0) Non-mover

Not at their very best, but still got the win and got over the 100 point mark. The good news is that Kittle looked dominant in his return to the lineup and the cream on the cake is that Kareem Hunt just became the lead back in Cleveland. They may not be the high scorers, but they continue to be the team to beat.

-

Unless someone starts letting my team win, these outros aren’t going to get any longer. Ultimatum time. I’m desperate in case it doesn’t show. Until next week.

2020: If you can field a team, you can win

Welcome to this week's episode of the LOC Report! Commissioner Stubbs and CoHost Chris Leach take a look back at week 4, and a look forward to week 5. At the moment if you can field a healthy team (or any team for that matter), that's pretty much all you need to win! Who is best placed to do that? Come on in and find out.

Thursday 1 October 2020

2020 Power Rankings: Week 4

Hello, hello, we find ourselves at yet another Thursday. And a bit later on this Thursday, so we’re going to hurry this intro along (as for some reason it is the bit I do last, go figure). The upside of it being later in the week is that we now know what is going on (or not as the case may be) in Tennessee and, as a result, in the LOC. Serves as a welcome reminder to enjoy what we have of this season, even if winning isn’t one of your team’s strong points. And enjoy the rankings because, well, even if they’re not that great, they’re free.

-

12. Patistan (0-3) Non-mover

Poor Patistan. Or more accurately, those poor players forced to play for them, despite knowing it will lead to their untimely downfall. It would appear that, as a result of this, the remaining fit players are taking games easy to limit the possibility of injury, which is good for fielding a starting roster! But bad for scoring points. Maybe Justin Jeffersen can bring some youthful invincibility?

11. Tom’s Tyrants (0-3) Down 1

A third loss in what felt like a rather important game, this team really can’t afford anymore this early in the season. The good news is that they put up a decent score without arguably their best players, perhaps things are starting to come together a little.

10. Forge Flyers (1-2) Down 3

The RB powered win that Forge Flyers have been promising but not quite delivering until now. That is the good news. The bad news is that those two RBs (and their stellar D) will not be playing this week, so Coach Leach will have to come up with a Plan B to build on the win. They don’t really deserve to move down, but the teams (formerly) below them all turned up last week, just the way it goes sometimes.

9. The Tuckfards (2-1) Up 1

Is there anything more synonymous with the LOC than Coach Merritt snatching a seemingly unlikely victory thanks to a massive performance? Yep, him doing it against Coach Burdett. I still can’t help but feel they are punching above their weight, but they are also top of their division, so what do I know?

8. Gridiron Gang (1-2) Up 1

A good week! And they needed it! Admittedly you could argue there was some above average scoring from certain players (Lockett, Wilson… etc.) but there was some solid stuff coming from would-be starters on the bench as well. I said I still believed, and they proved my faith right, now to build on it.

7. U R Gould (2-1) Up 1

Once again, Coach Gardner hasn’t quite gotten his best players on the pitch, but once again it didn’t matter and they picked up the win. From the first few games, Chubb looks like the only must start player on the roster, picking the best team each week is likely to cause a headache. But there are points available, so that’s good! Will Burrow get a game at some point?

6. IKSAN (2-1) Down 4

Patistan’s one true rival for injuries, they got pretty wrecked last week. Dak Prescott has been every bit the player they drafted and at this point he is carrying the rest of the team. It seems to have gotten to the stage where they may be starting players they hadn’t actually heard of prior to this season, just a hunch.

5. Buccing the Trend (2-1) Non-mover

Would they have won if DK hadn’t been so outrageously complacent? I’m no mathematician, but… no I’m really not, so I don’t know. Underwhelming outings from Fournette and Jacobs cost them on this occasion, but there is still plenty to like about this team. They’ve been given an opportunity to turn things around playing against a team missing half their team due to 2020ness, they’ll be hoping to take it.

4. Burdettinators (1-2) Down 1

On the face of it, another 100+ point week, but then you notice that over half came from James Robinson and the Colts D. Don’t get me wrong, two players/teams that having been pleasant surprises on the season so far, but not who Coach Burdett would be hoping was carrying his team. Let’s call in a down week (especially being against their old nemesis), better things to come, the Minshew experiment may be over.

3. Bear Necessities (2-1) Up 3

Not their most impressive week, outside of Josh Allen who is expanding on the meaning of the word impressive. Another win though and that is what counts. Dalvin Cook is starting to heat up (is that a pun? I’m claiming it) though and that is very encouraging, this team has definitely got another gear yet.

2. Two Broke Gurleys (2-1) Up 2

Will likely be feeling a bit hard done by I’d imagine, that’s reflected by the move up the rankings despite the loss. Still a very good week and continuing to prove they mean business. Coach Nunn is continuing to add to and improve his team using the waivers. Also, Kamara is a god, he is jogging his way towards CMC’s dual threat crown.

1. The Dream Team (3-0) Non-mover

And another team rewarding me for my faith. Deservedly remaining at the top of the rankings and the league. Everything about this makes me want to say that DangeRuss can’t keep it up, but I equally see absolutely no reason to bet against him. Probably based on experience from previous playoff years, Coach Nathwani is managing the injuries well (so far).
