Power Rankings.
1. The Dream Team, 4-0 (1): Another day at the office for this team. So far they are looking like one of the most likely teams to achieve a play off berth, and deservedly so. Yet to dip under 100 points, enduring a couple of blows, they continue to have a very nice season. I know, I say it every week, the wheels could come off at some point, but the more weeks it keeps working, the less I think it will happen.
2. Bear Necessities, 3-1 (2): Another solid week by this team, but before I jump on the hype train I am going to take a moment of pause here. They have been extremely good, but they are also extremely dependant upon Andrew Luck. Much like teams we've seen in the past, they ride the QB and live or die by it. While this is by no means a bad strategy, it tends to lead to some struggles at times.
3. IKNAN, 3-1 (6): That was sorely needed for this team. After a strong start, and some sputtering in the following weeks, they managed to right the ship last week and bring home a win. While somewhat fortunate to be 3-1, there is no denying this team has the talent to be where they are. While last week was a step in the right direction, they need to find consistency in order to continue their success.
4. Burdettinators, 2-2 (5): One word. Finally. Although it wasn't quite what we expected of this Burdettinators team, they have a solid week and brought home the win. They needed to rely on a player stepping up at the last moment, but a W is a W. They really need to build off of this performance, but like IKNAN, they took a step in the right direcction last week.
5. Forge Flyers, 0-4 (3): You have to sympathise with this team, it has been a rough start to the year. While the first 3 weeks they arguably deserved something from, I don't think anyone (coach Leach included) can be too upset about a loss last week. But, be that as it may, they still have a very good roster and should get it going at some point. 0-4 will be very hard to overcome however.
6. The Tuckfards, 3-1 (9): Before you think I'm coming around to The Tuckfards, I'm gonna stop you right there. This is an admittance that yes, they are 3-1, yes, they are capable of nice weeks. But as we all know, when you're reliant on 2 or 3 players (which The Tuckfards completely are) there is only so much you can do, and they will be very up and down throughout the year. Some weeks. that might be enough.
7. Gridiron Gang, 1-3 (7): Another team that you really have to feel for. If they had started one different player each week, they'd be 4-0 right now. Further to that, it was the same player. Further to that, it was the coaches favourite of all time, Tom Brady. Here's a lesson folks, don't let your heroes cloud your judgement. But it's not all on the coach, few would expect the poor start Brady has. Look for this team to get going with a new signal caller in charge.
8. ADRZ, 2-2 (8): Look, we know what ADRZ is at this point. They had a nice week, they did, but it's probably the upper end of what they will be able to achieve on a weekly basis. What's more, they were just simply outscored last week, and the loss isn't on them (but it's karma for what happened at the week 4 wembley game last year...). They have potential to put up a nice score each week, but the opposite can also be said.
9. Tom's Tyrants, 2-2 (4): Well....it's going to be another roller coaster season for this coach I feel. The team just looks out of sorts right now, and that looked to be changing in Week 3. This team definitely has the potential to turn it around, and still be one of the best, but until I see it happen (and on a consistent basis), they are just simply not good enough. If anyone can turn it around, Coach Barnes can.
10. Jeff's Seals, 0-4 (10): They say that you learn more in defeat than you do in victory. Going off of that logic, Coach Allen and Fisher should win the Stubbs trophy in 2015. This year however, they will likely have to settle for the Toilet Bowl. While this team can definitely nab a win on any given Sunday, they arguably enter every game as the clear underdog. My heart goes out to them, I hope they can turn it around.
