Over the next 9 weeks we will reveal each hall of fame nomination article and give it it's very own podcast! After which voting will take place to decide this year's inductee. Nomination: "Draft Magic" - 7 years without a single losing season (2013-2019) which is an LOC record

Coach Sherwood's front office is arguably the best and most advanced in the LOC. Nobody knows exactly what Coach Sherwood does, but there is no doubt some element of coding, data mining, etc. involved. Sometimes it throws out curious picks (enter Cameron Meredith), but while there might be a blunder, the rest of the draft more than makes up for it.

How can I make such a statement? Well, you only need look at Coach Sherwood's dominance in the LOC since 2013. We all know they've been to 3 Corona Bowls since 2015, winning one - but did you know they haven't even had a losing season since 2013?

In Coach Sherwood's illustrious LOC career thus far, he has only had 1 losing season. 1. Think about that for a second. The sustained excellence that goes into avoiding losing seasons is bewildering. Whilst they have only had double digit wins only once, they've only had less than 7 wins once, and even then that was only 6-8. This is probably why IKSAN is under the radar and doesn't necessarily get as much pop as some of the other Coaches in the LOC. The other reason is it's widely regarded that their in-season prowess is nothing close to their preseason prowess - but when that preseason prowess is so good this is less of an issue.

Further to this, there is no LOC coach that can say they've not had a losing season in as long as a span. You may be thinking, this nomination is dangerously approaching a nomination for a career. Well, I have allowed this as I think it is on the cusp of that but not quite. Much alike ADRZ's 3 year span that was inducted last year for making 3 straight Corona Bowl's, a 7 year stretch with no losing season that includes 3 corona Bowl appearances and 1 win is no joke - and certainly a feat that may not be matched ever again.

On top of this, (as a note of reference and not part of the nomination), IKSAN has the highest win rate per season of any team in the LOC. They have also over taken 2 founding coaches on the all time win list, despite joining the league a year later in 2010. 

How long can IKSAN's dominance continue? This cannot be known. And all great dynasties must come to an end at some point (you would think)? But looking at what Coach Sherwood has done in this period of league history is astounding - and it is for you to decide if it belongs in the Hall of Fame.
